Our Journey
Since 1974, Original Río Cristal has been an icon of Cuban flavor in Miami. Founded by José Acosta “Pepe,” the restaurant gained fame with its legendary “Super Río Cristal,” a palomilla steak topped with crispy French fries.
Although it faced difficult times, its legacy was rescued by the family and continues today, maintaining the tradition that won over generations.

Good chicken steak and fries.
Happy to see the place totally refurbished. Much nicer. Though somewhat higher prices, still good value for money. Had the John Bill Fish with two side orders, excellent. Still the best place for palomilla steak, chicken steak and those wonderful fries and tostones. Flan out of this world.!!!
